This policy explains what personal information Gum’n’Shoe, a brand operated by Levent Enterprises LLC (“we”, “us”), collects when you view the preview website we built for your business, watch your personal video, use our checkout or chat with us, and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Details you give us: your first and last name, email address and mobile number, entered at checkout, in the chat or in a quote form on your preview website, and the messages you send us in the chat.
- How you use the preview and checkout: pages viewed, how long a page was in view, how much of your personal video you watched, the plan and options you chose, and which checkout fields were completed (whether a field is filled — not what you typed into card fields).
- Device and approximate location: IP address, browser and device type, a device identifier derived from browser characteristics (to recognise the same device when we answer you in the chat), and an approximate location (city and country) derived from your IP address using IP geolocation by DB-IP.
- Payment information: card details are collected and stored by our payment processor [Authorize.net / Worldpay] and are not stored on our servers.
2. How we use it
- to provide the website and services you purchase, including onboarding and support;
- to answer your questions in the chat and follow up with you by text, phone or email about your website and your order, including if you did not finish checking out;
- to process payments and prevent fraud;
- to understand and improve our videos, preview websites and checkout.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business — hosting, payment processing, messaging and email — under obligations to protect it, and where the law requires.
4. Storage in your browser
Our pages store small random identifiers in your browser (local and session storage) so that your visits, video progress and chat stay connected. We do not use advertising cookies.
5. Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above: for customers, for the duration of the service and as required for accounting and legal obligations; for prospects who did not purchase, for up to [24 months] after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@gumnshoe.com. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Depending on your state (for example California), you may have additional rights; we will honour them as required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
